Warriors make short trip to Sacramento

The Golden State Warriors continue their pursuit of the Los Angeles Clippers in the Pacific Division when they travel north to Sacramento to play the Kings on Wednesday evening.

Winners of seven of their past eight and coming off an impressive East Coast swing, the Warriors saw off the challenge of the New Orleans Hornets at the Oracle Arena in Oakland on Tuesday evening.

David Lee led the hosts with 26 points and Golden State once again received stellar play off the bench from Carl Landry and Jarrett Jack. The Kings, who beat the Warriors 94-92 earlier in the season, have lost five in a row as their season appears to be unravelling once more.

Sacramento were in Phoenix to play the Suns at the US Airways Center on Monday and fell 101-90 despite an 11-point half time lead. Jimmer Fredette was the lone bright spot for the visitors scoring 22 points on 7-of-13 shooting.

The Warriors are 20/33 to pick up the win on the money line, with the Kings 29/20.

The Clippers are also in action on Wednesday when the Hornets make the trip down to Southern California to play at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

LA has not lost since the last time New Orleans were in town and upset their hosts 105-98 in the final week of November.

Greivis Vasquez had 25 points that day in the victory and the former Maryland star dropped 20+ on Golden State and the Portland Trail Blazers in his last two starts to round back into form as New Orleans heads to LA.
