Thunder welcome the Mavericks to town
Two games adrift of the San Antonio Spurs in the race for the top seed in the Western Conference, Oklahoma City Thunder entertain Dallas Mavericks at the Chesapeake Energy Arena on Monday.
One of three Conference sides with three home defeats or less, the other two being the Spurs and the Denver Nuggets, the Thunder have suffered home setbacks to only the Atlanta Hawks, Memphis Grizzlies and Brooklyn Nets.
The defeat to the Grizzlies was avenged this past Thursday with a 17-point hammering, but Oklahoma City then travelled to Cleveland and were surprised 115-110 by the Cavaliers over the weekend.
Kyrie Irving was 12-of-23 from the floor and a perfect 8-of-8 from the charity stripe for a game-high 35 points and both Tristan Thompson and Marreese Speights added double-doubles for the victors.
For the Mavericks it's the finale of a four-game road swing and Wednesday they host the Portland Trail Blazers at the American Airlines Center in the first of four before the All-Star break.
The home win is priced up 4/17 on the Money Line and the away win is quoted 13/4 in the same market.
Los Angeles Lakers picked up their second in a row on the road with a one point win over Detroit Pistons on Sunday and now head to Brooklyn on Tuesday to play the Nets.
Without the injured Dwight Howard, Pau Gasol returned to the starting line-up and hit 10-of-18 from the floor whilst also grabbing 10 boards.
Currently 10th in the Conference, the Lakers must first overall the Trail Blazers before setting their sights on Houston Rockets. On Monday Portland are in Minneapolis to play the Timberwolves to start a 10-day six game road swing.
