Nadal sees off Federer in classic

Rafael Nadal came back from a set down to defeat Roger Federer in four sets and reach his second Australian Open final.

Nadal, who won the tournament in 2009, edged an epic battle against Federer to set up a final against Andy Murray or defending champion Novak Djokovic, who face off on Friday.

The Spaniard is 11/8 to triumph on Sunday while Murray is at 5/1 and Djokovic is at 11/10.

Much was expected of the clash between two of the modern day greats and the match didn't disappoint, with both players displaying some sublime skills. Federer edged the first set on a tie-break but Nadal stepped up his game to take the second 6-2. The world number two then took the third on another tie-break before winning the fourth 6-4.

The victory was Nadal's 18th over his old foe and he will now aim to secure an 11th Grand Slam title.

"Two Sundays ago I really couldn't imagine being in the final. It's a dream to be here," he said.
