Vettel stronger than ever - Red Bull

Red Bull owner Dietrich Mateschitz has warned F1's title hopefuls defending champion Sebastian Vettel is heading into the new season better than ever before.

Sebastian Vettel won 11 Grand Prix last season.

The German driver broke a host of records last year, including most Grand Prix wins in a season, as he made it back-to-back World Championships.

As a result of his dominance of Formula 1 over the last two years Vettel is priced at 1/6 to make it three drivers' titles in a row this season, with Ferrari's Fernando Alonso 4/1.

At 24 Vettel could be on top in Formula 1 for years to come, especially given the way Red Bull's car has been totally dominant over the last few years.

Last week's winter testing session in Jerez saw Vettel post similar times to McLaren's Lewis Hamilton, although times in testing can paint a false picture given the changes teams can make to the cars before the first race in March.

Despite the start of the season being a month away Red Bull chief Mateschitz says he has seen enough to convince him Vettel is going to enjoy an even better season than he did last year.

"He still has great potential ahead of him because his experience, his consistency and his domination in different situations will be given free rein," Mateschitz said in an interview with Speedweek magazine.

"His focus in qualifying was already part of his strength but he's going to be even stronger in competition because he knows the complexity of his sport even better now."

Red Bull are 1/1000 to win the Constructors' Championship this year, with McLaren 66/1 and Ferrari 66/1.
