Red Bull's problems frustrate Vettel

A dejected Sebastian Vettel has admitted that he has little chance of winning a fifth successive drivers' title this season.

Red Bull have endured a series of problems during testing with Vettel's car breaking down after just four corners of the Bahrain International Circuit on Saturday.

Vettel had to push his RB10 back to Red Bull's garage, where it stayed for the rest of the day and it is already looking unlikely that the German will be able to challenge for the world title in 2014.

Right now, it's impossible to have any expectations.

"Reliability is not where we want it to be," said Vettel. "Too many things are breaking down, we're not running enough.

"Right now, it's impossible to have any expectations. Of course, our reliability's bad at this stage, otherwise I'd be doing a lot more mileage. But also it's impossible to judge the speed.

"I think the couple of laps we had it felt okay, but we'll have to wait until the first race to see what the stopwatch says.

"But obviously, we have to look at things step-by-step. There's no point saying that we want to win the Championship. First of all, we want to make sure we can do the best job we can, trying to finish the first race and then going from there."

Vettel is 8888/1 to win the 2014 Drivers' Championship, while Lewis Hamilton can be backed at 1/5.

Red Bull are 50/1 to win the Constructors' Championship, with Mercedes 1/1000 and Ferrari 1000/1.
