Klopp revels in Kagawa return
Borussia Dortmund head coach Jurgen Klopp is delighted to have Japanese ace Shinji Kagawa back at the club, especially with Marco Reus currently out injured.
Playmaker Kagawa marked his return to the Bundesliga club with a goal in their 3-1 win at home to Freiburg on Saturday and Klopp believes that the former Manchester United man will be a superb addition to his squad.
He told reporters: "I am really delighted that Shinji is back here. With his quick turn of pace in tight spaces, he'll really do our game good.
"He can set up and score goals and unfortunately, we now know that Marco Reus will be out for four weeks after damaging his ankle ligaments, so Shinji’s transfer is all the more timely."
Kagawa could get a chance to get once over on a former Premier League rival on Tuesday evening when Dortmund play host to Arsenal in the Champions League.
Kagawa is 8/1 to score first in the game and 8/1 to net the final goal of the game, while he is available at 9/2 to notch the first Dortmund goal.
And Klopp is wary of the threat of the Gunners, especially given their signings of strike duo Alexis Sanchez and Danny Welbeck.
He added in the Evening Standard: "They have signed two outstanding players in Danny Welbeck and Alexis Sanchez, who will give them even more pace.
"I'm expecting the Gunners to try and utilise this on Tuesday, but first and foremost, both teams will have to be fully focused and defend well."
