Hart insists City can still qualify

Joe Hart insists Manchester City are capable of qualifying for the last-16 of the Champions League even after the disappointing 2-2 draw at CSKA Moscow.

City had led 2-0 at half time in Russia but goalkeeper Hart had no excuses after the game, admitting that they had not played well enough to secure the three points.

The result leaves City's hopes of qualifying for the last-16 of the Champions League in the balance, although Bayern Munich's thrashing of Roma helped their cause.

It's going to be difficult but we are capable of qualifying from this group.

"It was a difficult game - we played well in the first half but in the second half were too open, but it was a fair result," said England international Hart.

"It's going to be difficult but we are capable of qualifying from this group.

"We have a home game against Moscow now and have to focus on that first and let the other two do what they need to do."

Manchester City can be backed at 1/1 to qualify from the group and are 1/1 to beat CSKA Moscow at home next month.

Manuel Pellegrini's side are available at 1/1 to win the Champions League outright and 1/1 to retain their Premier League title.
