Hamsik rules out Napoli exit

Slovakia midfielder Marek Hamsik says he has no plans to move anywhere before the end of his current contract at Napoli, which runs until the summer of 2018.

The 27-year-old continues to be linked to a number of clubs in England and Spain, but Hamsik is adamant that he is going nowhere, being more than happy to remain in Naples for the foreseeable future.

He told the Corriere dello Sport: "When my current contract expires, I will be 31 years old. My head is here and not elsewhere.

"I think it would be wonderful to win the Scudetto with Napoli, but it's also great to keep lifting other trophies here and we're in the running for the Europa League (this season).

Napoli can be backed at 1/1 to win the Europa League this season, with Inter Milan 1/1 and Liverpool 1/1.

Hamsik, who moved to Naples in the summer of 2007, added: "I have little more to add to what I've already said - I am happy here and think I've said it so many times that even the rocks know I am happy at Napoli! So until 2018 I am focused on Napoli and nothing else.

"We've won three trophies in two years, something Napoli hadn't managed for decades. Of course it goes without saying that our real desire is Lo Scudetto."
