Evra relishing AC Milan test
New signing Patrice Evra has said Juventus are preparing for a stiff test of their Scudetto credentials against AC Milan in Serie A on Saturday.
Massimiliano Allegri will make his first return to the San Siro in a competitive match since he was fired by the Milanese giants in January in what promises to be a mouth-watering clash between two in-form sides.
Defending champions Juve made it three straight wins in all competitions on Tuesday when they beat Malmo in the Champions League and have won their last four meetings against Saturday's hosts.
France left-back Evra, who arrived in Italy from Manchester United during the close-season, has been impressed by the start former striker Filippo Inzaghi has made to his managerial career at the San Siro and accepts it will be a difficult test.
"We expect a tough game like all others, but we are Juve," he told Juventus TV. "These are the types of games I wanted to play when I signed for Juventus.
"I'm really looking forward to it.
"Juve and Manchester United are similar in the sense that no effort is spared in giving you the best possible conditions in which to work."
Allegri led the Rossoneri to the Serie A title in his first year in charge in 2010-11 and admitted it will be an emotional return to take on his former club.
"It was important to beat Malmo," he added. "Now we can focus on the match at San Siro. Milan have started very strongly and have bought really well.
"I have a great relationship with [Milan vice president Adriano] Galliani, he called me before the Malmo game to wish me good luck. But it's obvious that now we'll be enemies on the field."
AC Milan are currently priced 12/5 in the 90 minutes market and the draw is quoted 21/10. Juventus are available to back in the match betting at 5/4.
