Redknapp still unhappy with Bosingwa

Queens Park Rangers boss Harry Redknapp has repeated his criticism of Jose Bosingwa, who refused to be a substitute for the recent victory against Fulham.

The former Chelsea defender was subsequently dropped for Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Newcastle United and looks set to leave Loftus Road in January, although his excessive wages could be a problem.

His future here depends on his attitude really.

Bosingwa has again been left out of QPR's squad for their game with West Brom on Boxing Day and Redknapp admits it will be tough for him to win his place back.

QPR, 1/1000 to be relegated this season, are 11/8 to beat the Baggies while Steve Clarke's side can be backed at 2/1 to take all three points from the clash.

Redknapp said the senior players in his squad have backed him over his stance, saying: "The good lads have not got a problem with it. The good lads would be sick. The Ryan Nelsens and Clint Hills and all the good lads all thought it was a disgrace.

"That's the first time it's ever happened to me as a manager and I've managed some pretty temperamental players. I've never known anyone to do that. It was something new to me and not something I like.

"His future here depends on his attitude really. We'll have to wait and see what happens. When you are down you need help. When you are playing Fulham at home you need help. We were desperate as we hadn't won a game all year."
