Fellaini - My future is with Everton
Belgium international Marouane Fellaini has put an end to speculation suggesting he will be leaving Everton next month by saying he wants to stay at Goodison Park.
The midfielder has enjoyed a fine season to date, finding the net five times in his last five appearances and has eight Premier League goals in total already this term.
Fellaini's current Everton contract expires in 2016 but that has not stopped stories circulating suggesting he would be heading to one of Europe's leading clubs in the January transfer window.
Although I'm happy to be praised for my performances, my future is with Everton.Marouane Fellaini
However, the 25-year-old, who moved to Merseyside from Standard Liege in the summer of 2008, said: "My head is exclusively with Everton - I'm saying nothing about all the rumours.
"Although I'm happy to be praised for my performances, my future is with Everton. I'm on a good run and I want that to continue against Spurs.
"We are playing well enough to fight for a European place, even the Champions League, but we must retain this rhythm all season. It won't be easy but we want to do it.
"Our fans deserve to have some more big European nights. I am pleased with my current form. There's no secret to it - it's a combination of luck, work and good positioning in the penalty area. I do what the forwards do....and score goals!"
Everton are currently seventh in the Premier League table and are only three points off the Champions League spots. They are 10/11 to beat Spurs on Sunday, with Fellaini available at 13/2 to open the scoring.
