Benteke aims to improve at Liverpool
Christian Benteke insists he has signed for Liverpool so that he win some trophies after completing his £32.5million transfer to Anfield from Aston Villa.
The 24-year-old Belgium international, who is Reds boss Brendan Rodgers' seventh signing of the summer, moved to Villa from Genk in 2012 and went on to score 49 goals in 101 appearances for a side that has struggled to avoid relegation in each of his three seasons with the club.
Benteke missed last summer's World Cup in Brazil with an Achilles tendon injury and struggled to recapture his best form when he returned to the Villa side in October. However, he still managed to score 15 goals as Villa, under the guidance of Tim Sherwood, moved clear of the bottom three and also reached the FA Cup final.

Benteke, who is the second big-name player to leave Villa this month following Fabian Delph's decision to sign for Manchester City, said: "I know Liverpool is a big story. They've won league titles and the Champions League five times and of course the UEFA Cup and a lot of trophies. I know it's a big club.
"I feel I can develop and become an even better player at Liverpool. I want to be the best and I want to reach the best of myself. I came here to win trophies. I came here to reach some great goals with the team.
"I'm very happy to be part of the Liverpool family now and I will do everything to make them happy and work hard for them and my team-mates."
Benteke is 4500/1 to be the leading goalscorer in the Premier League in 2015/16, while Liverpool can be backed at 1000/1 to finish in the top four.
