Saunders in for Gregory at Crawley
Dean Saunders is the new interim manager at League One strugglers Crawley Town after John Gregory stepped down to have open-heart surgery.
The Red Devils confirmed on Saturday that the 60-year-old former Aston Villa, QPR and Derby boss, who replaced Richie Barker at the Broadfield Stadium just over 12 months ago, requires the operation in January.

And because Gregory will not be able to oversee his managerial duties during his recovery, the club have wasted no time in bringing in a replacement on a temporary basis.
A statement released by Crawley said: "John will need a lengthy period of recuperation. This operation needs to be done as soon as possible but is not stress related."
Former Wales international striker, Saunders, who has been out of work since being axed by Wolves in May 2013, steps into the hot-seat and will take charge for Sunday's home game against Colchester. He is 23/10 to get off to a winning start, while the U's are 5/4 to win and the draw is 5/2.
Crawley are currently in the relegation places on goal difference, but just two points off the bottom, and they are 8/13 to be relegated this season.
