Hughton wary of dangerous Forest

Bobby Zamora returned to Brighton earlier this summer for a second spell.

Brighton boss Chris Hughton is keen to get the Championship campaign off to a productive start when the Seagulls face Nottingham Forest on Friday evening.

Brighton, 1/1 to be promoted this season, are 1/1 to beat Forest 2-1, with new signing Bobby Zamora available at 1/1 to score at any time.

Forest won 3-2 at Brighton last season and former Newcastle United and Norwich City boss Hughton is determined to gain revenge for that setback.

Forest are now managed by Dougie Freedman following Stuart Pearce's disappointing spell in charge at The City Ground, and Hughton said of the ex-Bolton and Crystal Palace manager: "He's done very well in his short period of time there and certainly turned their fortunes around with regards to results.

"It probably caught up with them a little bit towards the end but they initially had a very good run.

"But we need to be very conscious that we're playing at home and there's always more onus on the team that's playing at home."

Meanwhile, Andrew Crofts is set to step up his comeback from two serious knee injuries in the last ten months when he plays for the Under-21s against their Fulham counterparts on Friday.
