Lithuania striker Darvydas Sernas has joined Perth Glory for the rest of the A-League season.
Sernas, who has scored five goals in 35 internationals, has joined on loan from Turkish side Gaziantepspor.
It takes Glory's January transfer window signings up to three, after they brought in Serbian free agent Nebojsa Marinkovic and former Central Coast Mariners midfielder Rostyn Griffiths.
Sernas has joined with an option for a permanent move for next season, with Perth coach Kenny Lowe pleased to recruit the 29-year-old forward.
Lowe said: "Darvydas is a proven goalscorer who can play anywhere up front. His all-action style of play should suit the A-League and will quickly make him a fans' favourite."
Sernas scored 28 goals in 134 games for his first club Dainava Alytus in his home country at the start of his career.
He came to greater notice when he spent two years in Poland with Widzew Lodz, where he averaged almost a goal every two games.
Sernas passed his medical in Perth on Friday, and will be available for the home game against Melbourne Victory on 31st January.
Meanwhile, Glory have contacted English Championship club Reading about cancelling the loan deal of midfielder Ryan Edwards.
Perth's football operations manager Ante Kovacevic said Edwards would struggle for game time for the rest of the season after the club brought in Marinkovic and Griffiths.
Edwards, whose father Alistair was sacked as Glory coach last month, has played 12 games since joining last July on a one-season loan.
Kovacevic said: "From a player's point of view, his game time may be limited here, that's the coach's choice.
"We just wanted to get the feeling of where Reading was regarding Ryan rather than a request to terminate."
Perth Glory are 1/1 to beat Western Sydney on Sunday, the Wanderers are 1/1 to secure the win and the draw is 1/1.
