Blues players stay on track
Carlton players will maintain their training intensity while on their festive break, says ruckman Matthew Kreuzer.
While the squad are enjoying their two-week break from camp, there is no chance of players slacking off. The Blues will return to Visy Park on 7th January, but Kreuzer says he and the rest of the players are maintaining their commitment to training.
He said: "We put a lot of hard work in before Christmas so you don't want to let that waste away.

"It's really important to keep on top of things. You feel good for the rest of the day anyway if you do it in the morning.
"You've got that freedom, when you're away from the club, to do those sessions whenever you want.
"It's only a two-week break so you don't really get that luxury to fully relax and unwind."
He added: "We've all been given our programs from the fitness side of things.
"It's about self-discipline, but obviously the club want to know what you've done so you have to record your sessions."
The ruckman said the whole squad had benefitted from their pre-Christmas training camp in Arizona.
He said: "It was good to get away with the boys and good to try different training methods. Obviously, training at altitude has been proven to work so let's hope it has for us."
Meanwhile, Kreuzer says Chris Judd's leadership talents will still be to the fore next season, despite his decision to step down as captain.
"It was his call in the end,'' Kreuzer said. "He's a terrific player so I don't think it will matter too much whether he's captain or not, he's still going to do the exact same thing and lead on the field.''
Andrew Carrazzo and Marc Murphy are said to be the leading candidates for the job.
"There are a few guys that are ready to step up,'' Kreuzer said. "And it's probably a good thing to do it now because Juddy's still going to be there to guide them and help them out along the way. It'll be good I reckon.''
Carlton are 8/15 to finish in the top eight while Hawthorn are 31/50 to win the premiership.
