Jaguars host the Seahawks in Jacksonville

The Jacksonville Jaguars continue their postseason push on Sunday when they entertain the Seattle Seahawks at Everbank Field.

Tied with the Tennessee Titans atop the AFC South Division, the Jaguars enter the game with the best defense in the NFL having allowed only 178 points over 12 games, 26 less than the second place Minnesota Vikings.

Jacksonville is also seventh in the league in scoring, a useful combination that normally sees success come the playoffs.

Last week the Jaguars had little trouble as they rolled over the visiting Indianapolis Colts. Blake Bortles completed 26-of-35 for 309 yards and two touchdowns against the woeful Colts as Jacksonville eased to a 30-10 triumph.

Running back Leonard Fournette was held to a 2.8 yard per carry average, gaining 57 yards on 20 attempts, but did manage to score on a 5-yard run in the third quarter.

The Jaguars play their regular season home finale next week against the Houston Texans before finishing the season on the road, first against the San Francisco 49ers and then on to Nashville and a match up with the Titans.

Tennessee also faces NFC West Division opponents this week as they are in Glendale to take on the Arizona Cardinals at the University of Phoenix Stadium.

It's the first of three against the NFC West for the Titans who will also play the 49ers and the Los Angeles Rams before hosting the Jaguars on New Year's Eve.

Both Tennessee and Jacksonville look good to make the postseason with a two advantage in the Wild Card chase with four games to play.

The Jaguars are 9/1 to win the Super Bowl this season, while the Seahawks are 1212/1 to take the title.
