Rafael Nadal is expecting a tough encounter against Diego Schwartzman in the third round of the BNP Paribas Open after enjoying an easy win on Sunday.
The second-seeded Spaniard annihilated Jared Donaldson 6-1 6-1 as he bounced back well after his disappointing defeat to Nick Kyrgios in Acapulco.
"I always have good feelings on that court," said Nadal, who has won the Indian Wells tournament on three occasions.
"I have played a lot of good tournaments here and I really enjoy playing here."
Nadal has defeated Argentine Schwartzman in all six of their previous meetings and is 1/12 to triumph again this week.
He added: "This was a very positive step for me and the next one is going to be against a player that I know very well.
"We have practised a lot of times and we have played some tough matches. [He is] one of the best talents in the sport today so it is certainly going to be a tough one against Diego."
Schwartzman recorded a 6-3 6-1 win against the Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena, while Filip Krajinovic caused an upset by defeating the Belgian David Goffin 6-3 6-3.
Krajinovic will face Daniil Medvedev in the third round after the Russian saw off Mackenzie McDonald 7-5 6-0. Krajinovic is 5/2 to beat Medvedev.
