Del Potro eyes US Open repeat
Juan Martin del Potro is looking forward with relish to the US Open, having ended up on the wrong end of a classic Wimbledon clash with Rafael Nadal.
Del Potro was eventually vanquished 7-5 6-7 4-6 6-4 6-4 in his quarter-final clash with the world number one, but the Argentinian was far from downhearted, despite failing to reach the last four at SW19 for a second time.

He told the official ATP Tour website: "I'm glad to play in this level against the No.1 in the world. For me it's so good, looking forward to the future.
"I was close to beating him and I couldn't because Rafa always has a little bit more than the rest of the players on tour. I think I have to keep working hard to see if in my next opportunity I can beat him.
“I'm playing good tournaments on different surfaces. Now I'm looking forward to keep playing in this level at the US Open, which is one of my favourite tournaments.
"I will try to improve a little bit more. If I have chances to play Rafa or the top guys, I would like to be at that level to do a better match than today."
Del Potro won his only Grand Slam title to date at the US Open back in 2009, when he defeated Nadal 6-2 6-2 6-2 in the semi-finals, before outlasting Roger Federer in a thrilling five-set final.
