O'Sullivan impresses in Preston
Ronnie O'Sullivan will play Yan Bingtao in the second round of the World Grand Prix in Preston after thrashing Robert Milkins 4-0.
It took O'Sullivan, who has already won the English Open, Shanghai Masters and UK Championship this season, less than an hour to beat Milkins.
The world number two made a break of 119 in the second frame and sealed victory in the fourth with a run of 73 while China's Yan defeated Martin Gould 4-2 despite trailing 2-1 at one stage.
The 18-year-old then hit form and compiled breaks of 89 and 122 to complete a fine triumph.
O'Sullivan is 1/3 to win Wednesday's last-16 encounter while Yan can be backed at 12/5 to come out on top.
Meanwhile, after easing past Luca Brecel 4-0, Michael Georgiou said: "If someone had told me 10 days ago where I would be now, I would have laughed. I am just going to continue doing what I am doing and see where it goes.
"It has been business as usual this week in terms of my practice, I put in as many hours as I could. I am really enjoying my snooker now and going for my shots without hesitating."
Jack Lisowski edged past Ryan Day 4-3 and will play Shaun Murphy or Ricky Walden in the second round.
