France head coach Jacques Brunel has recalled fly-half Lionel Beauxis for Sunday's Six Nations clash against Scotland at Murrayfield.

The Lyon star has not played for Les Bleus since March 2012 but has been drafted into the side as Matthieu Jalibert picked up an injury in last weekend's game against Ireland and Camille Lopez continues to be absent.

The other two changes from the side that lost 15-13 to Ireland are Marco Tauleigne, who comes in at No.8 for Kevin Gourdon, who suffered an ankle injury last weekend, and Geoffrey Doumayrou, who replaces Henry Chavancy.

France squad to face Scotland: Geoffrey Palis, Teddy Thomas, Remi Lamerat, Geoffrey Doumayrou, Virimi Vakatawa, Lionel Beauxis, Maxime Machenaud, Jefferson Poirot, Guilhem Guirado, Rabah Slimani, Arthur Iturria, Sebastien Vahaamahina, Wenceslas Lauret, Yacouba Camara, Marco Tauleigne.

Replacements: Adrien Pelissie, Eddy Ben Arous, Cedate Gomes Sa, Paul Gabrillagues, Louis Picamoles, Baptiste Serin, Anthony Belleau, Benjamin Fall.

Meanwhile, Scotland have made six changes to their line-up following the heavy defeat to Wales.

Greig Laidlaw replaces Ali Price at scrum-half, while Sean Maitland and Peter Horne come in for the injured Bryon McGuigan and Chris Harris.

In the forwards, second row Grant Gilchrist replaces Ben Toolis, while Ryan Wilson comes in at No.8 in place of Cornell du Preez and tighthead prop Simon Berghan, who is available again after suspension, replaces Jon Welsh.

Scotland head coach Gregor Townsend said: "We are looking forward to putting in a performance that can energise our supporters. To do that we need to out-work the opposition and be more accurate in a number of aspects of our play.

"We've seen a response from the players in training this week and that needs to continue into and through the 80-plus minutes of the match because France will pose a massive and immensely-physical challenge."

France are 11/5 to beat Scotland, who are 4/11 to come out on top.
