Wakefield Trinity head coach Chris Chester has provided an update on the fitness of prop forward Craig Huby, who is continuing his recovery from knee surgery.
Trinity host Salford Red Devils in Friday's Super League fixture, where they will be aiming to continue their strong start to the season.
Chester's side were convincing winners away at Hull KR last week, and they could be bolstered by the return of Huby for round two. Wakefield are 2/9 to win the match while Salford can be backed at 10/3 to triumph.
"We always knew it would be a three-month recovery and we've not put any pressure on him. We've told him to come back when he feels ready. He is fully training now, he has been doing a lot of contact work and he is in my thoughts for this week," said Chester, who is expecting a stern challenge from the Red Devils.
"They like to throw the ball about, have got a big pack and we are expecting a very, very tough game. Salford are dangerous; we have had some close games against them during the last couple of years.
"Last year, they should have probably have won the game at home and we got beaten at their place in the Challenge Cup. But there are no easy games; we had a tough game last week and we are expecting exactly the same."
Leeds Rhinos edged past Hull KR in Thursday night's televised match, while Huddersfield condemned Warrington to a second consecutive defeat.
