John Gosden will talk with Enable's owner before making plans for the superstar filly, though the handler is already dreaming of an historic third Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe success.
Enable, who had raced just once this season, was sent off favourite to win her second Arc at Longchamp on Sunday and she prevailed in a thriller.
She hit the front under Frankie Dettori a furlong and a half from the winning post and, despite a rattling fast finish from another filly, Sea Of Class, Enable just managed to hold on in the dying strides.
She became the eighth dual winner of the Arc and her trainer immediately revealed she was not at her absolute peak going into the race.
With no horse having managed to win three renewals of Europe's premier middle-distance contest, Gosden is understandably allowing his mind drift forward.
"She wasn't at her best. I've had a difficult year with her and started with a bit more hair than I have now. It's entirely down to the filly and her guts and a lovely ride from Frankie," said the trainer.
"It's great for Prince Khalid (Abdullah, owner-breeder). He wanted to come here and if she's in good form there's no reason you wouldn't try to come again."
More immediately, Gosden is open to the notion of taking in the Breeders' Cup Turf at Churchill Downs early next month. He will allow Enable some time to get over her exertions in France and speak with the owner before committing however.
"We'll see how she is, Prince Khalid will make the final decision, as he always has," he added.
"Give it 10 days - what she has done off this preparation has been extraordinary. It's been a nightmare getting her here and I promise you she was 85 per-cent [in the Arc]."
Enable is 8/13 to win the Breeders' Cup Turf on 3rd November while Roaring Lion is 999/1 and Cloth Of Stars, third home in the Arc, is priced at 999/1.
