Stewart: Power can reach the top
Trainer Emma Stewart says the sky is the limit for Ample Power following his latest victory at Ballarat on Saturday night.
Ample Power now has seven wins from nine starts as he blasts his way through the grades, and record-breaking Stewart has high hopes for the son of Mach Three.
"He's a pretty talented pacer," Stewart said. "I think he has the ability to go a long way. At this stage he'll just keep racing through the classes and hopefully reached his full potential.
"He has only had the nine starts because he was a hard horse to get going, but he is making up for lost time."
With Chris Alford in the sulky, Ample Power cruised to a soft three-and-a-half metre win from No Bettertime, with Milady Denver two-and-a-half metres away third.

"He did it as easily as he liked," Stewart said. "Chris barely moved behind him and he had plenty in the tank.
"He's gone 1:56.3, with the last half in 56.3 seconds and he wouldn't have blown out a candle as he came off the track.
"With more experience as he goes through the classes he should develop into a very nice type."
