Ideal Bliss tipped for success
Ideal Bliss is expected to make it back-to-back wins on Sunday night after landing the perfect draw ahead of the Fillies' Championship at Hobart.
Trainer Paul Hill is delighted with the way his filly has pulled up following an effortless first-up win last weekend, and his confidence has been given another lift after she drew perfectly in the pole.
The Tasmania Oaks is the main target for Ideal Bliss, and Hill believes Sunday's outing will be the perfect lead-up race to the big one in two weeks.
"I am very, very confident with her," Hill said. "Given the lift in her work since that first run, I can't see her being beaten. Last week she came from the back row against older horses and did it easily and she will be better again this time.
"This run will top her off perfectly for the Oaks in a fortnight, which has been the main aim with her all along."
Ideal Bliss now boast five wins and two seconds from seven starts, and Hill also has some big plans on the horizon including the Tasbred Final, which she won last year.
"The Sires is also a high priority with her," Hill added. "I'm also setting Streitkid for the Tasbred, so hopefully they will both do well in those series.
"Sunday night will be an interest test for him, but he should go well."
