Trainer Michael Brennan has been singing the praises of Mista Shark as he prepares to return to racing at Gloucester Park on Friday night.
Mista Shark will contest the third heat of the Pure Steel series at the Western Australian track and Brennan is feeling in a confident mood.
The son of Four Starzzz Shark was put through his paces at Pinjarra on Wednesday morning - undergoing a workout in heavy sand with reinsman Michael Grantham in the saddle.
Mista Shark has drawn gate three in the contest, much to the delight of Brennan, who has high hopes.
"I'm happy with the draw," Brennan said. "With him it doesn't matter too much, as long as he gets around safe I will be happy."
Mista Shark showed his class when he scored eight wins on the bounce last preparation, including a win in the $50,000 San Simeon Final on Inter Dominion Grand Final night.
Brennan believes his pacer has come on leaps and bounds since his last appearance, and says his strength could be too much for his rivals on Friday night.
"He appears to have come back a much better horse, he is a beast, he's big and strong, just like a Shark," Brennan said.
