Trainer Tony McEvoy is pleased with Run Naan's return to action and says he is now primed to strike at Saturday's Group 3 Blue Diamond Prelude (1100m).
Run Naan finished third behind Long Leaf and Ollivander in the Listed Blue Diamond Preview (C & G) over 1000m at Caulfield on 2nd January but is expected to improve further for the run also at Caulfield on Saturday.

"He looked very full and beautiful in the paddock before the race the other day and he looked the horse to me that would improve the most out of the race," McEvoy said.
"That's starting to happen and the run on Saturday will bring him to a peak. He's trained on well and that improvement I think is shining through.
"I was very pleased with his performance and looking forward to him running again."
Meanwhile, McEvoy has confirmed he will make a gear change with Oohood in Saturday's Group 2 fillies Blue Diamond Prelude (1100m).
Oohood will be fitted with winkers following her unlucky third in the Blue Diamond Fillies Preview on 27th January and McEvoy is hoping it will have the desired effect.
"She's going well but I think a set of winkers might just make her a bit more of a racehorse," McEvoy said. "She seems to get back in that spot where you need a bit of luck and the other day she was luckless. We get one more chance for her to get in to the big one."
Run Naan is 20/1 on a win and each way bet to win the Blue Diamond Stakes at the end of the month with Long Leaf 6/1 and Ennis Hill priced at 8/1.
