Lloyds doubts repeat prospects
Top jockey Jeff Lloyds believes he is going to need a huge slice of luck if he is to make it back-to-back wins on Magic Millions day at the Gold Coast on Saturday.
Lloyd won the 2YO Classic last year on Houtzen, and looks to be on the one to beat in this year's $1million Magic Millions Cup (1400m) as he takes the ride of Care To Think, who has won four in a row.

However, after landing barrier 19 in the draw, Lloyd admitted everything will have to fall into place for him to win at the Gold Coast track.
Care To Think will jump from 16 after scratchings, but Lloyd is far from impressed with outside draw.
"He is a very nice horse and he has overcome bad barriers and bad luck in running in his last three wins," Lloyd said. "It is not easy to do what he did last time, to get stopped in your tracks and have to pick up again and then win.
"But he will need luck in this race, probably a lot of it. If he gets any luck, he has a great turn of foot and can certainly win.
"There is a lot of speed in the race, probably six or seven horses that go forward, so I am going to be a long way back and I'll have to start improving from the 600m.
"Hopefully I can get on the back of something and if he can manage to get the right run, then I am confident he should be in the finish."
Care To Think is 5/2 in the Fixed Win market for Race 6 at Gold Coast on Saturday, with Arbeitsam 11/1 and Lucky Hussler 11/1.
Meanwhile, Lloyd does not have a ride in Saturday's 2YO Classic, the race he won last year on speed machine Houtzen, but he fancies the chances of Sunlight.
"Sunlight has got good speed and a lot of speed outside her with Ef Troop - I think Sunlight will get the right run," Lloyd added. "She has had a great preparation for this race and I think she will win."
