Romero to start against CSKA

Jose Mourinho has revealed that Sergio Romero will start in goal for Manchester United in their Champions League Group A decider against CSKA Moscow.

Joel Pereira will be on the substitutes bench while David de Gea will be rested following his magnificent display on Saturday when United won 3-1 at Arsenal.

Mourinho has also revealed that Nemanja Matic, who played against the Gunners even though he was expected to miss out, is definitely injured and will not feature on Tuesday at Old Trafford.

"We have problems, we have injuries," Mourinho said. "Matic is injured and, when I say he is injured, he is injured. I am not going to make him play so Matic is out.

"A couple of others guys are playing every match and they also need a rest. More importantly, the other guys deserve an opportunity to play."

Paul Pogba will start against CSKA even though he was sent off against Arsenal and will miss this weekend's Manchester derby, which United are 12/5 to win.

Mourinho added: "It's the match that matters. Pogba plays of course.

"He's a bit tired because it was a huge match last weekend and just two days to recover for CSKA. But he's very happy to play and to try to keep his momentum because since he was back from injury, he's been phenomenal."

United are 20/1 to win the Champions League outright and 9/20 to beat CSKA on Tuesday.
