Shkodran Mustafi could miss Arsenal's Premier League trip to Southampton on Sunday because of a muscular injury.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger may opt to rest either Rob Holding or Per Mertesacker for Thursday's Europa League clash with BATE Borisov, which Arsenal are 2/7 to win, so that they are fresh for the visit to St Mary's.
Mohamed Elneny has played as a central defender in the Europa League this season and is set to start against the side from Belarus.
Mustafi did not train with his team-mates on Thursday while Theo Walcott, Olivier Giroud and Jack Wilshere are all set to start against BATE Borisov. Walcott is 11/10 to score at any time in the match.
Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and Alexandre Lacazette are all expected to be rested. The Gunners have already secured top spot in Group H and won the reverse fixture in Belarus 4-2.
Meanwhile, Wenger insists he will do everything he can to ensure his team win the Europa League this season. They can be backed at 12121/1 to do so.
He said: "I think we have a chance to win it, let's give it a chance. It's like the FA Cup, we go straight now to direct knockout so it's important we give it a go."
Arsenal can be backed at 1500/1 to finish in the Premier League's top four this season.
