Mandzukic to miss Barca clash
Mario Mandzukic will miss Juventus' Champions League clash with Barcelona on Tuesday because of injury.
The Croatia international was substituted seven minutes before the end of Saturday's 3-0 Serie A victory over Chievo and it has been confirmed that he has suffered a recurrence of an injury he picked up while on international duty earlier this month.
New signing Benedikt Howedes as well as Giorgio Chiellini, Sami Khedira and Claudio Marchisio will also all miss the match.
Juve knocked Barca out in the quarter-finals of last season's competition and are 18/1 to win Tuesday's group match 1-0 and 20/1 to win the Champions League outright.
Meanwhile, Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde has refused to say whether Ousmane Dembele will make his first start for the club on Tuesday.
The France international moved to the Nou Camp in the summer and was a substitute in Barca's 5-0 victory against Espanyol on Saturday.
Valverde said of the former Borussia Dortmund star: "You'll find out [if he will start] tomorrow, If I play him it's because I think he's ready.
"But he's a player, like everyone, who is training well and fitting in better each day. He could start any game.
"If he doesn't start tomorrow, he will start soon. Perhaps if he arrived earlier we'd be able to do more, but he's not had long to blend in."
