Klopp vows to name strong side
Jurgen Klopp insists he will not make many changes to his Liverpool line-up for the second leg of their Champions League round of 16 clash with Porto.
The Reds all but confirmed their place in the quarter-finals by winning the first leg in Portugal 5-0 last month but Klopp is unwilling to rest many of his players for Tuesday's match, even though they face Manchester United in a crunch Premier League clash at the weekend.
Liverpool strolled to a 2-0 victory against Newcastle United on Saturday, a result that lifted them up to second in the Premier League table ahead of Manchester United's match at Crystal Palace on Monday.
Former Borussia Dortmund coach Klopp said: "It's not about rest. Porto have won all their games since we played them.
"They will strike back, that's what they want. They are Portuguese and proud and will give a fight.
"I don’t think for a second about resting anybody. I know it is Manchester United afterwards but we cannot change it. In the situation we are in now, it is clear we will not win the Premier League, but it is still very positive."
Liverpool are 5/1 to win Tuesday's second leg by a three-goal margin and 11/10 to keep a clean sheet against Porto. They can currently be backed at 12/1 to win the Champions League this season.
