Forrest: We're buzzing for the game
James Forrest is looking forward to testing himself against the stars of Paris St-Germain when Celtic take on the French side in the Champions League.
Brendan Rodgers' side play host to a team that includes the likes of Neymar, Thiago Silva, Edinson Cavani and Angel Di Maria in their first group game in the Champions League on Tuesday.
The Bhoys have already had to see off Linfield, Rosenborg and Astana to reach this stage of European club football's premier competition and Forrest is looking forward to the step up in class.
Celtic failed to win a game in the group stage of last season's competition, although they did earn two creditable draws with Manchester City as well as drawing 1-1 at Borussia Monchengladbach.
Forrest said: "If you look at all the money PSG have spent then it is massive, but it is great for everyone. It is a big one. These are the games you want to play in every week. Everybody will be buzzing for the game.
"The qualification for the group stage of the Champions League was a lot better this year than it was last year. That night against Rosenborg was really good because it guaranteed us European football until the end of the year and then the home game against Astana at home was also class.
"We had a couple of good results in the Champions League last year and now we want to get better and see if we can win a game and then see what happens in the group from there."
Celtic can be backed at 10/1 to beat PSG while the draw is 11/2 and Forrest is 4/1 to score at any time against the side from the French capital.
