Dembele desperate for silverware

Mousa Dembele says the Tottenham players will not be scared of Juventus when they take on the Serie A side in the Champions League on Wednesday.

The Belgian produced an outstanding display last month in Turin as Spurs drew the first leg of their round of 16 encounter against Juve 2-2 and they can be backed at 2/5 to finish the job off at Wembley and qualify for the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Dembele is happy to take the plaudits but would be happier if Mauricio Pochettino's team started to win some silverware.

He said: "You always want to win something, so it doesn't change my role. It's a good feeling. Everybody likes to be appreciated, but there's so much to play for still."

Dembele had to be substituted on Saturday as Spurs beat Huddersfield Town 2-0, but the midfielder says he is fine, adding: "I feel good, to be honest. I have played a lot of games, and automatically, if I play a lot of games, I feel fitter, much stronger, and good.

"The Champions League is a different type of tournament and anything can happen, and obviously we have a lot of confidence, against Juve and Real ... we're not scared of them. The thing is now we have to keep focused."

Spurs are 12/1 to beat Juve 2-0 on Wednesday and 2/1 to keep a clean sheet in the match, while Dembele is 9/1 to score at any time against the Italian outfit.
