Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is 100 per cent content that he made the right decision in leaving Real Madrid to join Juventus in the summer.

The 33-year-old forward ended a nine-year stay in the Spanish capital by heading to Turin, where he has settled in quickly in scoring ten goals in 15 Serie A appearances to date.

I'm 100 per cent sure I made the right decision at the right time.

His efforts have helped Juve pull out an eight-point lead at the top of the table, with the reigning champions of Italy having dropped just two points from 15 games played.

And Ronaldo is clearly happy with the decision he made to try a new challenge, telling the Corriere dello Sport: "I had several offers to leave Madrid. I'll never say which ones, but Juventus are a solid club, they have so much history.

"I couldn't be 100 per cent sure that I was joining the best club in the world, given I spent nine years at Madrid, but I'm 100 per cent sure I made the right decision at the right time."

Meanwhile, the former Manchester United ace has also praised the togetherness which he believes is a major factor in Juve continuing to set the standard in Italian football.

He added in the Gazzetta Dello Sport: "The players here are humble and they work very hard, it's been fantastic.

"This is the best group I've ever played with. At Juventus we really feel like a team, unlike elsewhere where some players feel like they are better than others."

The next league challenge for Juve is a Turin derby against Torino on Saturday, with Ronaldo and co 3/5 to win the game, 11/2 to do so by a 2-0 scoreline and 11/8 to win to nil.
