Icardi cool over Real rumours
Inter Milan's star striker Mauro Icardi has played down talk of possible interest in his services from reigning European champions Real Madrid.
The 24-year-old Argentina international scored twice in a 3-1 victory at Cagliari on Saturday to take his tally to 15 in Serie A so far this season, with Icardi the subject of rumours suggesting that Real could be preparing an offer.
However, the in-form South American was keen to calm talk of a possible exit from the San Siro, having spent just over four years with the Nerazzurri after starting out in Italy with Sampdoria.
He told the Italian media: "The club talks about the release clause, but you all know how I feel, there's nothing to say.
"I don't talk about those things, my club does and at the moment we are in November, there is a lot of the season left to be played , therefore it is too soon to talk about the transfer window for me.
"I do what I have to do on the pitch, then there are a lot of people who like to occupy themselves about these things."
Inter are top of Serie A ahead of the games on Sunday and are still unbeaten after 14 games played - with their only dropped points coming in draws with Bologna, Napoli and Torino.
The Nerazzurri can be backed at 12121/1 to win Lo Scudetto this season, with Napoli available at 50/1 and Juventus 1/10000.
