AC Milan need to use their emotions to "respond and win" Sunday's Derby della Madonnina, according to captain Leonardo Bonucci.
The Rossoneri face Inter in Serie A's second Milan derby of the campaign and it is the seven-time European champions who hold the advantage as far as form goes.
Gennaro Gattuso's side are currently on a run of 12 unbeaten in all competitions, a streak that began with December's Coppa Italia triumph over the Nerazzurri.
Inter have won two of their last three but their upturn in form was preceded by eight games without a triumph.
Momentum often goes out the window in derbies and the team that manages their emotions usually comes out on top.

Despite Inter's recent blip, they currently sit fourth, three places and seven points ahead of their city rivals.
Bonucci and his side set themselves a goal of qualifying for the Champions League in the summer and winning on Sunday could play a significant part in their quest to eclipse Luciano Spalletti's men.
The 30-year-old, who spent time at the Nerazzurri as a youngster, has challenged his team-mates to control their emotions and continue their form against their great rivals.
"When you play at home, when you play the derby at San Siro, it's different than playing in other stadiums, because you have 60-70 thousand people pushing for you and they transmit to you the passion and love for this shirt," Bonucci told Milan TV.
"We have to use these emotions on the pitch to respond and win.
"The derby is a game to itself, but we want to win to pick up points for the Champions League race.
"It's a game apart, the past doesn't count and we saw that in the Coppa Italia derby."
Milan are 7/5 to win on Sunday, with Inter 12/5 and the draw available at 2/1.
Gattuso's side are 1000/1 to finish in the top four, while Inter are 9/5.
