Buffon confirms Juventus departure
Veteran goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon will end his amazing 17-year career with Juventus this weekend, but has not ruled out playing on elsewhere.
The 40-year-old will play his last game for Juve against Verona on Saturday, ending an association with La Vecchia Signora which stretches back to the summer of 2001, when he joined from Parma.

He has since racked up more than 650 appearances for Juve, helping the club to nine Serie A titles, and four Coppa Italia successes, with the Turin outfit also reaching the Champions League final three times with Buffon involved.
Buffon has also won 176 caps for Italy to date, but was denied a perfect international send-off when the Azzurri failed to qualify for the World Cup finals in Russia this summer.
However, while confirming that he will make his Juve exit, Buffon says he has not yet decided whether to play on elsewhere.
He told reporters: "I said that I received a few proposals, very interesting ones, both for on the field and off it.
"Next week, once everything has calmed down a little bit, I will decide what I think is best for me.
"There's no point now betting on where I could go. If I were to continue, I'd want to challenge for big honours, because that's what I live for and in a way it's my limitation too.
"Saturday will be my last game with Juventus. I think it's the best way to end this wonderful adventure, to end it with another two (trophies), which are truly important.
"My fear was to reach the end of the Juve adventure as someone who people just put up with, or a player who had lost it."
Juventus are 4/6 to keep a clean sheet on Saturday and are 1/12 to win the game, with the home side 6/1 to win the game by a 2-0 scoreline.
