Wenger hails Arsenal spirit
Arsene Wenger felt Arsenal showed their spirit in overcoming a stubborn Watford side 3-0 at Emirates.
The result ended a run of three successive Premier League losses for Arsenal and, following a 2-0 Europa League win over AC Milan on Thursday evening, Wenger says the players are in a position to win the fans over again.
There were empty seats all around the Emirates with a number of season-ticket holders seemingly put off by the Gunners disappointing form of late.
Shkodran Mustafi, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan were all on target as Wenger's side earned their first league win since beating Everton 5-1 on 3rd February.

They remain in sixth place, eight points behind Chelsea in fifth, but Wenger was happy to accept some positives.
"We had a disappointing period and our supporters suffered like we suffered," said Wenger.
"But our job is to perform and to stick together in difficult moments, and to get the fans back on our side again."
Troy Deeney had a penalty saved by Petr Cech with the score at 2-0 in the second-half, with Wenger conceding that could have made life much tougher.
"At 2-0 they had a penalty and if they had come back to 2-1 it is a fact that we have a bit of fatigue and we could have been in trouble but we took advantage of that miss," he said.
"I selected my team to have the chance to win the game and also rest some players I did not want to get injured. We are not so far to the end of the season so, any injuries, you lose them for the rest of the season."
Arsenal are 17/20 to beat Milan in the second leg of their Europa League last-16 tie on Thursday. The Serie A side are 16/5 while the draw is 3/1.
