Swans need a win warns Clement

Swansea City head coach Paul Clement says it is imperative that his team to find a way to win games, even if they do it by playing 'ugly' football.

The Swans dropped into the Premier League relegation places after losing 1-0 at home to Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday, with Clement admitting that the Swans need to get points on the board as quickly as possible.

We might have to grind out a result somewhere, to win ugly.

City have won just one of their last eight league games and have been beaten in five of their six home games so far this season.

A concerned Clement told the club's official website: "At the moment we are in a really bad moment, no question about that. But together we have to find a way to get a victory.

"We might have to grind out a result somewhere, to win ugly, to get out of this run we are on.

"A lot of these players have been in this kind of situation before. We have belief that we can get out of it, but we don't want it going on and on. We have to get out of it soon.

"It sounds obvious, but we have to continue to work hard and get the details right. It's down to us to turn things round, because nobody else is going to do it for us."

Swansea have lost out by a single goal six times in the Premier League this season, with their only two victories coming at Crystal Palace and at home to Huddersfield Town - both of which were 2-0 successes.

The Swans are 4/9 to be relegated this season, with Huddersfield priced at 11/8 and Palace available at 4/5.
