Sigurdsson targets big finish
Everton's Iceland international Gylfi Sigurdsson is determined to end the season strongly and help to improve the team's away form.
After making a terrible start to the campaign and flirting with relegation at one point, the Toffees are currently ninth in the table and only two points behind seventh-placed Burnley.
They have earned 17 points from their last eight games at Goodison Park but continue to struggle on their travels and were humbled by Arsenal earlier this month.
Everton visit Watford, Burnley and Stoke City as well as entertaining Brighton and Manchester City before the end of March, and Sigurdsson is keen to put together a good run.
He said: "We need to really push on. The next five games are crucial for us - they are very important. Especially the home form; if we can continue playing the way we have in the last few games at Goodison, that will really set us up.
"We need to improve our away form, and if we can start picking up points away from home, hopefully we can have a good end to the season.
"We are in a good position considering where we were a few months ago. We have some important games coming up where we need to make sure we do well and finish the season strongly."
Everton, 1/2000 to finish in the top half of the Premier League table, can be backed at 23/10 to beat Watford this weekend.
