Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri believes Ross Barkley can shine on the international stage with England after his impressive start to the season.
Having come through a torrid time with injuries, the former Everton playmaker has started to come to the fore at Stamford Bridge.
The 24-year-old bagged his first goal for Chelsea in their 3-0 victory over Southampton in the Premier League on Sunday and impressed in his overall play.
Barkley's performances have certainly caught the eye of Sarri and the Italian feels it's only a matter of time before the former Toffee shines back on the international stage with the Three Lions.
He said: "I said from the first day that he has great physical and technical quality. But you have to improve from the tactical point of view and now he has improved I think.
"Potentially, he is a great player. He has quality - very important quality from the physical point of view. From the technical point of view, he is improving tactically.
"He will become a very important player, and for the England national team."
