Salah backed to hit goals trail
Virgil van Dijk is confident that his Liverpool team-mate Mohamed Salah will get back amongst the goals in the Premier League run-in.
The Reds' Netherlands international central defender has spoken out in defence of Salah after his failure to find the net in Sunday's 2-1 win at Fulham took him to seven matches without a goal.
It is a far cry from last season when the 26-year-old Egypt international bagged 32 league goals in his debut campaign at Anfield.

However, Salah will still become the quickest player in the Merseysiders' history to reach 50 league goals if he scores in one of the next five matches.
And, with Jurgen Klopp's side embroiled in a two-horse race with Manchester City for the Premier League title, Van Dijk is certain that Salah will rediscover his scoring touch.
"Mo is a world-class player," he told Liverpool's official website.
"People can say all they want but I think all the teams in the Premier League would love to have him in their side. We have him and I think he is playing well.
"The goals will come. That's something for a striker that is maybe going to be in your head but we tell him every time: you just need to keep working, keep going and you will be fine.
"He's still scored plenty of goals for us, to be fair, so it's not like two like me! It is like this."
Despite his current drought, Salah sits on 17 league goals and is 1/3 to finish the leading goalscorer, while Sergio Aguero is one ahead of him and is 4/1 to claim the Golden Boot.
