Ranieri ready to make changes
Claudio Ranieri has admitted that he may have to make some changes to his Leicester City side if the Foxes are to avoid relegation this season.
Leicester lost 2-0 at Swansea City on Sunday and are now only one point above the relegation zone. They have lost their last five Premier League matches and have failed to score a top-flight goal in 2017.
A much-changed side had beaten Derby County 3-1 in the FA Cup last week but Ranieri fielded most of his title-winning team for Sunday's match and the plan backfired as the Swans won the relegation six-pointer thanks to first-half goals by Alfie Mawson and Martin Olsson.
Ranieri replied when asked if he had been too loyal to last season's stars: "I could be, could be. It is difficult when you achieve something so good. You want to give them one chance, two chances, three chances.
"Maybe now, it is too much. Of course I must change something because it is not possible to continue in this way.
"We need to work together to find a solution. The machine is not broken, but when you don't play at your maximum level and the others stay at the top, it is a difficult battle."
The Foxes can be backed at 25/1 to be relegated this season while they are 6/4 to beat Millwall in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Saturday. Leicester are 3/1 to score in both halves against the Lions and 13/8 to keep a clean sheet in the match.
