Pickford eyes rapid rise
Jordan Pickford is adamant that Everton will soon start climbing the Premier League table and will not be relegated this season.
The Toffees are 18th in the table heading into this weekend's fixtures and play Watford at Goodison Park on Sunday.
Everton, who sacked Ronald Koeman last month, were knocked out of the Europa League with two group games still to play when they were beaten 3-0 by Lyon on Thursday.
"It's not been ideal but we are not far away from winning games," said the 23-year-old, who moved to Merseyside from Sunderland in the summer.
"We're not a club that is going to be in the bottom three for long I'd say. It's just that the luck hasn't come our way yet.
"It's a totally different scenario for myself from last season. I think one win will get us to 13th or something in the league.
"Then that one win can become back-to-back wins, and that is where the confidence grows, and it starts Sunday."
Everton are available at 13/10 to claim a win against the Hornets on Sunday and 15/2 to secure a 1-0 victory.
