Mourinho happy with United's form

Jose Mourinho cannot believe how well his Manchester United team have started the season considering their injury problems.

Mourinho is unhappy with the criticism United have received, particularly for their negative approach to the recent matches against Liverpool and Tottenham, as they have been without the likes of Paul Pogba, Marouane Fellaini and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Mourinho, as well as former Chelsea trio Juan Mata, Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic, are all set to return to Stamford Bridge on Sunday for a game United are 11/5 to win.

United have a very poor recent record at Chelsea, winning on only one of their last 15 visits to west London in a sequence stretching back to 2002, but they are 17/2 to edge Sunday's encounter 1-0.

United are 12/5 to keep a clean sheet in the game with Lukaku 5/4 to score at any time.

"I think we are doing very, very well. I really think that you and the specialists, you know the football that we were playing in the beginning of the season," Mourinho said. "You know. And now you pretend you don't know.

"Now you pretend that we never played amazing football, we never scored lots of goals, we never scored amazing goals, we never had our midfield players and our defenders arriving in the opposition box and scoring goals and creating chances, I know that you know that.

"You just pretend because it's convenient for you to pretend that this didn't exist, but [it] exists. And we miss our players, of course, and we had to play big matches without them and probably we are going to play one more without them again."
