Ruben Loftus-Cheek hopes he will be able to return to the Crystal Palace side shortly after recovering from an ankle injury.
The 22-year-old, who is on a season-long loan at Selhurst Park from Chelsea, has returned to training for the first time since suffering the injury during a 3-2 defeat to Arsenal in December.
Loftus Cheek, who has made 16 Premier League appearances for the Eagles so far this season, said: "My right ankle took a little bit of a fracture and it has taken a while but thankfully I am back now and that is the good thing.
"It was scary because we didn't know how long it would take and what was the best road to go down but I went back to Chelsea for physio and rehab and worked hard to get back."
Palace are 18th in the Premier League table and 1000/1 to be relegated this season following their 2-1 loss at Chelsea on Saturday.
They visit Huddersfield Town this weekend and can be backed at 15/8 to beat the Terriers and at 9/4 to keep a clean sheet against the West Yorkshire outfit.
Roy Hodgson's team have endured a topsy-turvy campaign. They lost nine of their first 11 matches, then embarked on a sequence of just one loss in 12 games, before failing to win any of their last seven and losing their last four top-flight encounters.
