Jokanovic vows to find solution

Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic has vowed to work hard to try and find solutions to help his team climb the Premier League table.

The Cottagers fell into the league's relegation zone on Saturday, replacing Cardiff in the bottom three after losing 4-2 away to Neil Warnock's side.

I can find the solution. My job is to keep working and fighting to find the solution.

Fulham got off to the perfect start at the Cardiff City Stadium, Andre Schurrle scoring from 30 yards to put the visitors ahead.

However, their defensive frailties were again exposed, City scoring two goals in five minutes to go ahead and though Fulham equalised before half-time, the Welsh side scored two more in the second half to clinch their first league win of the season.

Worryingly for Jokanovic, Fulham have now conceded 12 goals in their last three league games and have let in 25 goals so far this season, by far the most in the league.

So, it is clear where the Cottagers have to improve if they are to survive in their first season back in the top flight.

Jokanovic said after the game: "I can find the solution. My job is to keep working and fighting to find the solution.

"We showed some positive things, but the negative things are killing us.

"They scored easy goals, even when we defended in numbers they finished the action and scored. We weren't strong enough in our box.

"I will keep going and keep working for my best XI."

They will aim to climb out of the bottom three in their next game, at home to Bournemouth on Saturday. They are 15/8 to get their second win of the season while Eddie Howe's team are 29/20 with the draw 27/10.

That game is followed by a fixture away at Manchester City in the fourth round of the EFL Cup.

Fulham are 1212/1 to win the EFL Cup this season with City 1/4.
