Chris Hughton says his Brighton side need to be wary of a backlash from Arsenal when the duo meet on Sunday.
The Gunners have again been in the headlines this week after a pair of tepid performances against Manchester City in the EFL Cup final and the league.
Both games resulted in 3-0 defeats and have only served to pile further pressure on boss Arsene Wenger.
The Frenchman has remained steadfast in his desire to succeed and will be demanding a response from his side at the Amex.
You can’t underestimate the quality they have got.Chris Hughton
Brighton beat Swansea 4-1 last time out and seem to be heading in the right direction in their survival bid, currently finding themselves four unbeaten in the league.
Another win on Sunday would further boost their survival chances but Hughton is taking nothing for granted against such illustrious opponents.
The 59-year-old admits the talent the Gunners possess means they will always be dangerous opponents and has warned his players against a potential backlash.
"I think most managers sitting here would say the same, when you are playing against a team with the stature of Arsenal who are on the back of back-to-back defeats, it doesn't happen often and what they want is a reaction," he said.
"We have to take care of our business but most would say it is the worst time to play them, they will want a reaction.
"You can't underestimate the quality they have got, it has been a difficult last two games but they have been playing a team playing as good a football as we have seen in this country for a long time."
Brighton are to 16/5 win on Sunday, with the draw 13/5 and Arsenal available at 19/20.
