Fit-again Noble raring to go

Mark Noble is hoping to be a regular in the West Ham United side this season after making a full recovery from abdominal surgery.

The midfielder struggled at times last term as the Hammers endured an inconsistent campaign, eventually finishing 11th. Slaven Bilic's team are 33/1 to secure a top-half finish in 2017/18.

West Ham play the first of their six pre-season fixtures on Monday when they face the Austrian third-tier club SK Sturm Graz II and Noble is keen to make a good impression. The Hammers are 7/1 to win the match 4-0.

"The operation went really well and I've trained every day and been involved in everything since we've been back, so I feel really good," he said.

"Obviously, it was a little bit worrying at the end of last season, but I feel much better for it now."

Bilic is set to complete the loan capture of Joe Hart from Manchester City on Monday after snapping up Pablo Zabaleta from the same club in May.

Noble is looking forward to playing with the Argentinian, adding: "Pablo has come straight in and it's been like he's been here a long time.

"He's been at one of the biggest clubs in the world and won the Premier League and other trophies, so we know he's a very good player. He's a great addition to the team and brings a lot of experience."

West Ham can be backed at 11/1 to beat Manchester United on the opening weekend of the Premier League campaign.
